We are opening a new chapter of our history with a unified identity, Geoquest, that embodies our expertise in geotechnical engineering and the constant pursuit of innovative solutions.
A new name, more coherent with our diverse solutions: from reinforced structures to geosynthetics and geohazards protective solutions, we have forged an unrivalled level of expertise and experience to complete a wide range of challenges.
Geoquest Canada Ltd. (Geoquest Canada) formerly known as Reinforced Earth Company Ltd. (RECo) is a civil engineering company designing and supplying components for innovative civil engineering projects under the trademark Reinforced Earth® & many other technologies. We have forged an unrivaled level of expertise and experience in reinforced backfill applications such as MSE retaining walls and other geotechnical structures for heavy civil engineering projects throughout Canada and some areas of the Caribbean.
2025 marked our 55th anniversary in Canada as trusted MSE wall suppliers. Our history started in 1970 when we built the newly patented retaining wall system, Reinforced Earth® on Canadian soil in Percé, Québec. Since then, our engineers have led the industry in researching and advancing the Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) technology, while building on our array of retaining wall types and other solutions.
As of today, Geoquest Canada has supplied over 1.7 million square meters of face area distributed among more than 3,000 MSE walls spread throughout every province. We have the experience and expertise to tackle any job, from a small arch bridge to a design-build project with 100,000 square meters of retaining walls.

RETAIN, CROSS, PROTECT, STRENGTHEN
Our technical solutions are categorized by four main functions; Retain, Cross, Protect, and Strengthen. The segregation is done based on the purpose of the designed structure. Retaining structures: We offer a wide range of retaining wall solutions as the inventors of Reinforced Earth® MSE wall technology and leaders in the soil reinforcement sector. Crossing structures: Our tailored crossing solutions are utilized in building bridge abutments, bridges, and tunnels buried under backfill. Protective structures: Our protective solutions help to safeguard people, infrastructure, and the environment from natural and industrial hazards. Strengthening solutions: We design and supply high-strength reinforcement geosynthetic solutions for a wide range of applications in soil stabilization.
